Frequently asked questions

  • What is MarbleCo composite stone made of?

MarbleCo composite stone is produced from mineral components with binders and technological additives. This composition combines the aesthetics of natural stone with more consistent performance characteristics and broad workability.

  • How does it differ from natural stone and porcelain stoneware?

Unlike natural stone, the composite material has a more controlled structure and delivers consistent decorative characteristics. Compared with porcelain stoneware, it offers greater scope for machining, producing complex details, edge finishing and realising bespoke architectural solutions.

  • Can the surface be restored later on?

Whether the surface can be restored depends on the nature and depth of the damage, as well as on the type of finish. Minor surface defects can in some cases be removed by professional grinding and refinishing.

  • What is possible in terms of shape and cutting?

The material can be machined, allowing straight and shaped cutting, edge and end finishing, chamfers at various angles, holes and details to custom dimensions. This widens the scope for using the material in complex interior and architectural projects.

  • Can the material be made to custom specifications?

Yes. Depending on the project, a custom colour, design and stone pattern can be selected, and the material can be produced in various sizes and thicknesses. A surface finish can also be chosen, allowing the material to be adapted to a specific interior or architectural concept.
